Manipura is the power chakra. It is linked with ego, identity, and fire. This chakra rules power, accomplishments, ego projections, will, control, and the freedom to be your own person. The attribute of this chakra is anger. The desire is achievement and supremacy, and the activity is hard labor.

Unbalanced: If Manipura is unbalanced, you may have low self-esteem and you may be sensitive to criticism. You may have anger, hatred and uncertainty. You ignore a longing for rest and use stimulants (like caffeine) for a false sense of energy. If this chakra is blocked, you may experience digestive problems.
Balanced: When Manipura is balanced you feel cheerful, strong, energetic, confident and alive. You become able to persevere. You are able to make decisions and take risk. You follow your gut instinct rather than over thinking things.
