Anahata is the middle chakra in the system of seven. It unifies opposite psyches such as mind and body, and male and female. Anahata's attribute is restlessness. Its desire is action and the activity is inner movement and movement outside the body. Anahata rules compassion, love, healing, sense of time, and relationships. It is the mediator of the higher and lower planes of being.

Blocked: If Anahata is blocked, you may feel grief, heartache, jealously, sadness, and loneliness. You use logic rather than your emotions (logic rules). You may feel resentment, depression, and possessiveness. You lead with your head and you become overly focused. When Anahata is blocked, you may experience cardiovascular problems.

Manipura is the power chakra. It is linked with ego, identity, and fire. This chakra rules power, accomplishments, ego projections, will, control, and the freedom to be your own person. The attribute of this chakra is anger. The desire is achievement and supremacy, and the activity is hard labor.

Some physical issues often connected to this chakra being unbalanced are, arthritis, constipation, weight problems, lower back pain, foot/knee/leg problems, and poor balance.
Balanced: You feel secure and safe. You are loyal and patient and you life is active and full of positive energy. You have a stable sense of belonging with family and friends. Your life is balanced, but with excitement. If this root it balance, it helps to draw negative energy out from the body, and take in pure energy from the earth.
